1.2.5 is bright and shiny!

Hi all,

 

Just sent in an update to Apple, if everything goes as planned it should be in your hands by the end of the week!

New features and bug fixes:
- Sebring is now included as a free track!
- Can now select between 24 and 48hrs as turn timeout (Advanced races only)
- Brand new and shiny UI in lobby
- After 2 consecutive missed turns a player gets kicked from the race
- Much faster loading of games (especially if the races have many players)

- Fixes skipped turns
- Fixes an issue where a pitstop is registered on first turn in 3 lap races
- Improved error handling
- Crash fixes

1.2.2 is on it’s way!

New track available!
Zandvoort is a new super long track that will really test the skill of the players!

* Fixed the player order in “Positions”, now shows current status and car
* Can now change lane after pitstop
* Recalculates number of steps after pitstop correctly
* Local games don’t require a GameCenter account
* Can no longer get multiple pitstops by canceling moves
* Collisions no longer occur with a lane separating the players
* Pit cars now show the name of the player it belongs to
* Game no longer crashes when rolling 20 or 30 for engine damage
* Minor performance enhancements
* Other minor bug fixes

News and fixes

* Now loads games much much faster! Really big difference with 10+ races going!
* Don’t do damage rolls for players in pits, not even if in 5th or 6th
* Only roll for damage for players in 5th or 6th gear when rolling 20 or 30
* Fix for skipping players in both local and GameCenter games
* No longer on occasion “gives” the turn to a finished player
* Can now change tyres when doing a Quick pitstop in advanced races
* No longer gives option for +1 step in pits when changing to soft tyres
* Displays current players name when selecting tyres in Local Games
* Displays current players name in nav bar for Local Games
* Correctly rolls for damages when stopping next to other players (other player rolls, if crash -> auto damage to current player, otherwise current player rolls for damage)
* Shows damage rolls for all players in local games
* Changed logic when checking if players a close enough for a damage check
* Changed so that several people can select the same car, should be easier for you to organize leagues that way
* Can now cancel bonus moves after pitstops
* Now shows status bar (clock, battery etc)
* iCloud sync now works much much better


1.2.0 is in Apples hands!

We just sent in the latest version to Apple for review, and this is a massive update for you all!
Just look at the numerous fixes in the list below :)
In addition to all the fixes, Pass n’ Play is finally here!!!
Now you can setup all races as local games with up to 10 players!

Changes and fixes:

* Pass n’ Play :D
* Now shows additional information in lobby
* Soft tyres extra step now optional
* Can now take extra steps by giving up engine points
* Removed Road-Handling. When running over debris you now loose Bodywork points instead!
* Slipstreaming now works in corners also
* Shows weather odds when selecting track
* Shows rolls for damage, weather and pitstops
* Debris is now laid out correctly on the track in 3-lap races
* Overtaking works again
* Can now brake even when player has not moved at all
* Doesn’t remove double engine points anymore
* Can now change lanes as usual when changing lanes out of a corner
* Can now skip turn if completely jammed in and unable to move
* Fixing issues with shared tracks not appearing in track listing
* Fix for pitstops not working when down to 0 repair points on 3 lap races
* Turn timeout changed to 24 hrs
* Cannot change lanes when skidding out of a corner anymore
* Leaderboard for Magny-Cours now works
* Fixed issue where players could get double turns

* When scrolling around on the track the border is now “bouncy”

Hi all!

Just in time for christmas, we just sent in the latest version to Apple!

Here are the main fixes and features of 1.1.3

* 4 new tracks!
 

* Short description of the different symbols under “Penalties” section in “How to play”

* No longer creates duplicate tracks when moving back and forward when selecting opponents
* Fix for skipping/jumping/teleporting cars
* Fix for when a restored “Facebook/Twitter shared” track would not appear in list
* Fix for counter in corners
* Fix for not being able to increase dice
* Now shows better error message when a race cannot be created (shows error from GameCenter)
* Possible fix for random crash when selecting dice

Hi all!

We are pleased to inform you that yesterday we sent in the next patch to Apple with the following changes:

* Changed the way panning works, now always 1 finger to pan except when moving car, then you can enable panning with a long touch
* Show number of steps that each gear corresponds to
* Players can clear games you are no longer participating in (kicked, crashed etc) , just swipe on the track in the lobby
* Cleaned up UI a bit
* Add people you play against directly from lobby

Fixed issues
* Now removes games correctly when a player quits
* Cannot click on the map when creating games anymore, resulting in -1 lap races that crashes
* Pitstops have been completely reworked and 100% working
* Sometimes a player could not join a game he was invited to
* Fix for notification when user quits
* Fixed issue when opponent is on the space in front of your pit slot
* Fix for slipstreaming (again)
* Fix for syncing issues between several devices
* Graphic fixes for non Retina devices
* Performance enhancements

Racer Feud + GameCenter sent to Apple!

Hi everyone!

We just uploaded the new version of Racer Feud to Apple!
Some of the highlights of version 1.1.0:

* GameCenter support! No more fiddling with friend requests :-)
* Play against random players
* Sorting of races where races where it’s “your turn” at the top
* Fixed issues when making a pitstop
* When blocked in Pit, no longer needs to finish move (and often crash…)
* Fix for Facebook posting issues
* No longer crashes with frequent switching between devices
* Players starting in a curve don’t have to stop immediately (Hockenheim with 9+ players)
* Fixed issue where in some cases lap counter was not updated after pit stop
* Slipstreaming now works along with other movement bonuses
* Now shows the correct amount of stops a car has made in a corner
* Button to restore previous purchases available in the store (in case the game was removed and reinstalled)
* And another bunch of  minor bug fixes and tweaks :-)

NOTICE
Racer Feud now requires iOS6 and all ongoing races will be lost since we move the game from our own servers to GameCenter!


Important notice regarding Premium!

October 26th, 2012

Racer Feud unfortunately crashes on iOS5 devices if you purchase Racer Feud Premium…!

We have sent in an updated version to Apple already but it will take some time before it’s approved
If you really want to play the game we suggest that you upgrade to iOS6 immediately!

Racer Feud 1.0.1 sent in to AppStore!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that we just sent in a patch for Racer Feud to Apple that will solve a few nasty crashes!

So if you have problems related to buying “Racer Feud Premium” or some crashes in game, this patch will probably (and hopefully) solve those issues for you! :-)
